I know you get it…but do you really get it?

If you learn one thing from us, I hope it is this: just eat real food.

Food, not products.

Food, not bars.

Food, not smoothies.

Food, not pouches, protein powders, shakes, supplements, non-caloric sweeteners, or natural flavors.

Just real food.

You see, your metabolism is ancient—you’ve inherited it from generations before you. It’s slow to adapt and requires equally slow food for well-being. Modern processed food is fast food. We eat it quickly, we digest it quickly, and we absorb nutrients from it quickly and efficiently. You might think that is a good thing, but it isn’t. When your metabolism is built for a slow delivery of nutrients and your meal delivers a fast and efficient delivery of nutrients, your poor liver gets overwhelmed and chaos ensues. Repeat that multiple times a day, day in and day out, and that chaos results in fatty liver disease, insulin resistance, high blood pressure, cholesterol disturbances, rapid weight gain, overweight or obesity, pre-diabetes or type 2 diabetes, and a general feeling of crumminess. The good news is the body is resilient! You can undo metabolic dysfunction by eating real food, food that your ancestors used to eat, food that properly fuels your ancient metabolism without overwhelming it.

While eating real food is a simple concept, it won’t always be easy in our modern environment. That’s why we’re here—to support you on this hard, but incredibly worthwhile journey.  You only get one body for life. RESILIENCE exists to help you feed it properly.
